MINUTES

Proposal #1
Raise admission prices from $6.00 to $7.00 for regular season circuit shows and from $7.00 to $8.00 for Circuit Championships. PASSED

Proposal #2
All classifications will remain the same with time limit for guards that are judged on the Regional “A” sheet (excluding the Cadet Class) being changed to a MINIMUM of 4 minutes of Performance Time and 3 ½ minutes of equipment time. PASSED

Proposal # 3
A promotion system will be set in place with the promotion scores being 5 points below the WGI Block scores set for that particular year. Groups will be evaluated on a weekly basis with promotions ending 2 weeks before Championships. PASSED

Proposal #3A
Amendment: A unit will be evaluated at the first two shows of the season. The second show will be the start of promotions. PASSED

Proposal # 4
Percussion units will be required to début at the 2nd and/or 3rd Circuit show. Reason: Since the Percussion season runs longer than the Color Guard season it is very difficult to come out at the first show in mid-January. PASSED

Proposal # 5
From James Thomas of Northwestern University TABLED

Proposal # 6
Vary the order of Circuit shows by placing percussion units at the end of the contest line up and color guard at the start of the competition. This order will be picked by the contest director and will affect no more than 2 shows per year. PASSED

LCGPC Championships will be sponsored by the Circuit PASSED

Proposal # 9
In order to host a contest a unit must meet the following facility requirements:
Double Doors (entering & exiting the gym) 60’x 90’ Performance Area
Seating Capacity (20-30 rows or 2 Level Gym) Covered Walkways
Indoor Warm-up Facility Covered Area for Props
Min. 20’ Ceilings in Equip. Warm Up Area

All units meeting these requirements will be eligible for show dates to be picked by the contest director in a lottery style format. PASSED
